Welcome to Star Chamber Books. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the sale of books through our website. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Product Availability

Copper Stopper is available in paperback version only. No hardback, eBook, Kindle, digital, or audiobook editions are available. It is being sold exclusively through this website. It is not available through Amazon nor any other reseller.

Discount Codes

If you have a discount code, please enter it at checkout on the screen where you provide your shipping address and payment details. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively after purchase.

Payment Options

We accept payments via credit or debit card. If you have a PayPal account, you can pay directly using your PayPal funds.

• If paying via PayPal, you do not need to manually enter your shipping address, as it will be automatically retrieved from your PayPal account. Please ensure your PayPal address is accurate before completing your purchase, as we cannot amend shipping addresses post-payment.
• If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still use PayPal as a card processor. Simply select the “Pay by Debit or Credit Card” option on the PayPal payment screen. A PayPal account is not required to complete your purchase.

Resale Restrictions

Copper Stopper may not be resold on any third-party platform, including but not limited to Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or any other online marketplace. Resale on such platforms without prior written consent is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to sell the book as new on these platforms without our permission may result in:

• Takedown requests to the platform, which could impact your account status with them.
• Legal action for copyright infringement and passing off.

Green Policy

To reduce paper waste, we do not include printed invoices with your order. A digital invoice will be emailed to you after purchase.

Shipping Information

We provide free shipping on all orders within the UK. For orders outside the UK, please contact us prior to purchase, as additional shipping fees will apply. If an international shipping address is provided without prior arrangement, your payment may be refunded without notice, or you may be requested to cover the additional shipping costs.

Delivery

We currently ship to UK addresses only via Royal Mail’s Second Class Tracked service.

• Orders are typically dispatched within 24 hours and should arrive within 48 hours of dispatch. However, please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
• If your order has not arrived within this timeframe, please check with your local sorting office and review your account for updates (if applicable) before contacting us.
• For international orders, please contact us prior to purchasing to discuss shipping options. Unauthorised international orders may be refunded.

Returns and Refunds

If you wish to return an item, please notify us via our Contact Us page. When returning an item, include a copy of your emailed invoice or provide your original order details to help us process your return promptly.

Returns are subject to the following conditions:

• Damaged or Missing Items: If your item arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please contact us so we can resolve the issue.
• Change of Mind: If you purchased the item in error, you may return it within 14 days of receipt. Returned items must be in the same condition as they were dispatched. We will not refund items that have been read, used, or otherwise damaged post-delivery.

Refunds will be issued once the returned item has been inspected and approved. Upon approval, refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, issued via the original payment method used to make the purchase.
